Warranty
The scooter comes from one manufacturer and the battery from another. Managing that is our job, not yours — so you get a single EV Tej warranty and one place to bring it.

We'd rather tell you now than argue later. None of these are covered:
- Accident damage, or damage from riding through deep water
- A battery charged with a charger we didn't supply
- Tyres, brake pads, bulbs, mirrors and other wearing parts
- Work done by another workshop, or a pack opened by anyone but us
- Cosmetic marks, scratches and fading paint
- Loss of range from normal ageing above the 70% threshold
- Call or message us. Tell us what's wrong. Often we can diagnose it over WhatsApp.
- Bring the scooter in. No appointment needed for a warranty check.
- We test it here. Battery packs go on a load tester in the workshop — we don't guess.
- You leave riding. We keep spare packs in stock, so you don't wait weeks for one to arrive.
Plenty of sellers quote three years. The question worth asking is what happens on the day it fails.
Our supplier is 1,600 km away. If we sent every failed pack back and waited, you'd be without a scooter for two to four weeks. So we hold spare packs here and settle with the supplier ourselves — that is the whole point of buying from a showroom with a workshop rather than from a phone number.
Use the supplied charger, don't leave the scooter on charge for days at a time, and bring it in for the free 6-month and 12-month checks. That's all we ask. Full terms are on the terms page.
