One EV Tej warranty The vehicle and the battery come from two different manufacturers. You get a single EV Tej warranty and we manage both suppliers. You deal with us, not with them.
Battery Three years of cover: 24 months full replacement, followed by 12 months pro-rata. Pro-rata means the value of a replacement in the third year is reduced in proportion to the time already used. Battery service life is expected to be six to eight years — the warranty period is not the life of the battery.
Vehicle Covered against manufacturing defects. Wear items — tyres, brake pads, bulbs — are not covered.
Not covered Accident damage, water ingress beyond normal riding, unauthorised repairs, and use beyond the rated load.
DRAFT — exact pro-rata terms must be obtained from Volkenn in writing, and AIS-156 and BIS/IS 16893 certificates are outstanding (Locked Decisions v1.0 §11).
